“…Compared with the FTIR spectra of PMAC, the new peak at about 1509 cm À1 was the characteristic peak of -NO 2 in CHL, which indicated the adsorption of CHL onto PMAC. 45 The intensities of the absorption bands at 3221, 1678 and 1035 cm À1 corresponding to the O-H, CQO and C-O stretching vibrations can be clearly seen to decrease significantly in the FTIR spectra of PMAC after CHL adsorption.
