“…In this case, the change in transmittance Δ T = 0.15 and 0.41 at λ = 500 and 900 nm, respectively, was reduced relative to the uncoated WO 2.72 control (Δ T = 0.20 and 0.49 at λ = 500 and 900 nm, respectively). Altogether, these results suggest that although amorphous Nb 2 O 5 is a less efficient coating for reducing unwanted photochromic effects than amorphous Ta 2 O 5 , likely due to the deeper valence band maximum of the latter relative to that of WO 3 , , it is a promising alternative material that could be even more viable after further optimization.…”

“…The clear arc correlates with the recombination of charge carrier at the surface of the perovskite, reflecting the recombination resistance R rec . [38][39][40] It is observed that a larger R rec is achieved by the device with double passivation compared with the control device, which reveals that the device with double passivation has a lower recombination rate, which means that PEABr and PbI 2 in the grain boundary have effectively passivated the traps.…”

“…Niobium pentoxide (Nb 2 O 5 ) is a promising material to be used as ETL in perovskite solar cells due to its high stability. In our previous work, we found that the combination of compact Nb 2 O 5 as hole blocking layer and TiO 2 mesoporous produces more stable devices with less hysteresis (Fernandes et al, 2016; Gu et al, 2018). In addition, the band gap value of Nb 2 O 5 could improve the V oc of the cells (Kogo et al, 2015).…”
