Efficient Performance Analysis of Energy Aware on Demand Routing Protocol in Mobile Ad‐Hoc Network

Abstract: In a networking scenario, energy protocols with shortest path routing mechanisms are prevalent. The challenging issue in designing the routing protocols for a mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is to have a network, which is energy efficient so as to maximize network performance. This research article proposes a novel and energy efficient shortest path routing mechanism called the energy aware on demand routing protocol. The protocol maximizes the lifetime of the MANET and provides an economically efficient routing… Show more

“…In order to reduce security breaches, we need to increase our processing speed. In an effort to avoid wasted energy, the Energy Aware On-Demand Routing Protocol (EADRP) was developed by R. Prasad and P. S. Shankar [9]. The protocol works to keep the MANET alive for as long as possible, and it also serves as an economically efficient routing method when the routing situation varies.…”

“…The multipath routing is then progressed using the Bird Swarm-Whale Optimization Algorithm (BSWOA), which is the incorporation of bird swarm optimization (BSA) into the whale optimization algorithm, based on the routing protocol (WOA). Prasad P, R, Shankar [7] suggested EA-DRP protocol was implemented with modifications to the current DSR and total energy consumption in the proposed protocol was reduced. An improvement in energy management may thus be seen owing to the change and now consideration of the efficient energy protocol in the area of MANETs.…”
