“…Besides, the Weber‐Morris intraparticle diffusion model is not suitable for describing the adsorption process of NH 2 ‐ZIF‐8 towards Au (III)/Ag(I), which is consistent with the result of Pore diameter distribution. Compared with the pure ZIF‐8, The equilibrium time for Au (III) reduces from 42 hr to 1.5 hr, and from 4 hr to 2 hr for Ag(I) . This reduction can be explained by the increase in the number of active sites upon the introduction of amine groups, which improves the adsorption kinetics for the Au (III) and Ag(I) ions.…”

“…As listed in Table , the BET specific surface area and micropore volume are 1254 m 2 ·g −1 and 0.53 cm 3 ·g −1 , respectively. The grafted amino group makes the surface area slightly decreased compared with the ZIF‐8, while not change the pore size distribution ranging from 10 to 70 nm (Figure d) . The FT‐IR spectra of ZIF‐8 and NH 2 ‐ZIF‐8 before and after adsorption in the range of 3900 to 400 cm −1 were investigated for further study of the adsorption mechanism.…”

“…In recent years, methods such as co-precipitation [ 11 ], adsorption [ 12 , 13 , 14 , 15 , 16 ], electrochemical [ 17 ], bioleaching and solvent extraction [ 18 , 19 ], etc., have been used to extract precious metals from solutions. Among these methods, adsorption is considered to be a hopeful method, given the advantages of high efficiency, simple operation, and lower wastes discharge [ 12 , 13 , 14 , 15 , 16 ]. Much research has been conducted on the recovery of gold in precious metal solutions.…”

“…Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs) are important branches of MOFs, which is a new type of nanoporous material with zeolite topology formed by linking transition metal atoms (Zn) with imidazole or imidazole derivatives. Compared with zeolite, transition metal ions replace silicon and aluminum in traditional zeolites, and imidazole esters replace oxygen bridges in traditional zeolites . Meanwhile, ZIFs possess zeolite topology in which divalent metal cations are linked to a tetrahedral framework by imidazole acid anions, resulting in a large surface area and pore volume and unique inherent biodegradability. So far, ZIF-8 has been widely used in catalytic magnetic separation, magnetic resonance, drug delivery, imaging, and other areas, but there are few reports on the adsorption of fluorescent probes.…”
