Abstract:Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is an intermediate state between normal aging and dementia, and there is no high-quality evidence that supports the pharmacologic treatment of MCI. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) can improve the whole brain function by eliciting changes in synaptic plasticity.
