Effects of recombinant porcine somatotropin (rpST) on joint cartilage and axial bones in growing and finishing pigs

Abstract: le plasma, mais n'augmentait pas la largeur de l'6piphyse ulnaire distale. Les vertbbres et les c6tes de b0tes trait6es d la rpST jusqu'au poids vif de 100,3 kg avaient une plus forte teneur en eau (P < 0,01) et, une moindre teneur (P < 0,05) en cendres de I'os (m.s.) et une moindre densit6 de la m.s.
