Green tea supplementation in NOD mice, either as GTP [9] or EGCG [10], was shown to ameliorate Sjögren's syndrome as indicated by reduced submandibular gland lymphocytic infiltration and serum autoantibody levels, in addition to a delayed onset and reduced incidence of diabetes.
