Effects of Frequency and Mass of Eccentric Balls on Picking Force of The Coffee Fruit for The As-Fabricated Harvesting Machines

Abstract: Currently, Vietnam ranks second about the coffee export in the world. To match that position, the use of coffee harvesting tools/machines according to the automatic trend is essential. However, the most common forms of coffee harvesting in Vietnam are manual, improved manual-coffee picking machines that are imported from foreign countries. The above harvesting forms have low productivity and have some disadvantages such as labor cost, labor hiring, high labor cost, and long harvesting time, low harvesting, and… Show more

“…Additionally, thermal-assisted machining contributes significantly to increased contactlength between the cutting tool and the chip. The contactlength between the cutting tool and chip is one of the main factors influencing shear force, vibration, and cutting stress [26]. SEM images show that heating at 650 o C increases contact-length between cutting tool and chip by 2.05 times.…”

“…Due to the operating characteristics, this vehicle must brake to pick up passengers at the stops continuously on the moving road. So this model often has a high fuel consumption, meaning many gas emissions into the surrounding environment [26]. To replace all of these vehicles with vehicles applying regenerative braking technology to reduce pollution, this is a difficult problem for the economy in developing countries like Vietnam [26]- [28].…”

To replace all of these vehicles with vehicles applying regenerative braking technology to reduce pollution, this is a difficult problem for the economy in developing countries like Vietnam [26]- [28]. Therefore, with the above actual situation, the study and test of hydraulic accumulator brake system model on the bus vehicle to solve the problem as follows:…”

“…Several researchers have previously implemented a coffee bean classifier using the principle of vibration to classify coffee beans [34,35]. However, these classifiers are generally not ergonomic because the design does not fit the dimensions of the worker's body size.…”
