Effects of feeding mother liquor, by‐product of monosodium glutamate, on digestibility, energy and nitrogen balances, and rumen condition in Thai native bulls

Abstract: High protein feeds such as soybean meal are necessary for improvement of livestock performances. Thailand is the fourth largest importer of soybean meal in the world, importing 2.9 million tons per year (USDA, 2018a). However, the price for imported soybean meal is still expensive, and it was 14.57 baht/kg (U.S. $0.429/kg) in 2017 (USDA, 2018b).
