Resumo: Este estudo tem por objetivo compreender como se caracteriza a gestão dos fatores de risco no desempenho de projetos de infraestrutura. Para tal, utilizou-se o referencial teórico associado tanto à literatura voltada para o gerenciamento de riscos quanto sobre complexidade e desempenho de projetos. A estratégia de pesquisa utilizada baseou-se no método de estudo de casos múltiplos, compreendendo a análise de cinco empreendimentos em dois segmentos econômicos distintos. As evidências empíricas sugerem que o impacto dos fatores de risco no desempenho dos projetos depende da intensidade da gestão dos riscos e das habilidades dos gerentes de risco, mas não varia com a complexidade dos projetos. O estudo também indica que a intensidade do desempenho nas dimensões analisadas varia de acordo com a influência dos fatores considerados.

ResumenEl proceso de compras y abastecimiento es uno de los eslabones iniciales de las cadenas de suministro, constituye un mecanismo importante dentro de la estructura productiva de las empresas, en el cual la oportunidad en el aprovisionamiento de bienes y servicios se considera trascendental. Este artículo ofrece una revisión enfocada en la medición del rendimiento del proceso de abastecimiento y compras, partiendo de lo susceptible en términos de rendimiento y totalmente ajustado a las necesidades de medición dentro de este proceso, a nivel general y en organizaciones como las PYME. Los resultados identifican atributos deseables de las compras y el aprovisionamiento como punto de partida para una amplia propuesta de indicadores asociados a estos atributos.

Abstract:The mechanisms of supply chains are omnipresent, but procurementcentric supply-chain management has received little attention in the construction industry, despite its economic weight. A procurement centric construction supply chain requires client integration and contractor integration to cope with the project complexity and project uncertainty. In this regard, procurement-led supply-chain initiatives using mediated power and non-mediated power of the client organisation can influence contractor integration and project performance. A structural equation model consisting of two exogenous variables -mediated power and non-mediated power of clientand three endogenous variables -client integration, contractor integration and project performance -is developed based on theoretical support. The data are collected from 244 construction professionals working in a variety of construction projects across India.
