“…To ensure that everyone is able to exercise, the patient's fitness, pain level, and access to exercise need to be measured first, as unsafe neighbourhoods, high rates of gym membership or limited space or money for exercise will reduce exercise adherence and efficacy. We recommend moderate intensity traditional Chinese health-promoting exercises, such as Baduanjin, Tai Chi, and Wuqinxi (Jia et al, 2022).…”

“…Exercise intensity, duration and frequency are all important in determining the outcomes (exercise induced improvement in withdrawal symptoms), with exercise intensity being the most important one. The latest meta-analysis indicated that exercise is beneficial in improving the physical and mental health of drug addicts ( Jia et al, 2022 ); however, the authors do not discuss the differences in outcome caused by different exercise intensities, which is not conducive to the formulation of precise exercise prescriptions for people with SUD. Preliminary evidence supports the view that moderate-intensity exercise may create more positive effects ( Wang et al, 2016 ), but this result needs to be verified by support from RCTs with larger samples or high evidence-level meta-analyses.…”

“…Studies suggest that exercise induces direct immune factor function, stimulates the mobilization and redistribution of NK cells and T cells [8,9], and reduces breast tumor growth [10,11], with an impact on mitochondrial and macronutrient metabolism [12]. Therefore, exercise has increasingly become accepted as an adjunct therapy for cancer, which suggests that it can increase the therapeutic effect of breast cancer and reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions [13]. However, the speci c mechanism is still unclear in the scienti c community.…”
