Effect of Structural Changes on the Electrical Properties of Sol-gel derived Iron Doped Barium Titanate

Abstract: BaTi1-xFexO3 compositions for x = 0.0 - 0.5 were successfully synthesized using solgel method and the structural, dielectric, ferroelectric, and ferromagnetic properties of these compositions were studied. X-Ray diffraction patterns revealed a tetragonal phase in x=0.0 composition which changed to the hexagonal phase in x = 0.4 and 0.5 compositions.
