Effect of Soil Test Crop Response Based Long-Term Fertilization on Yield Attributing Parameters and Yield of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

Abstract: A field experiment was carried out during Rabi season of 2020‒2021 and 2021‒2022 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya (JNKVV), Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) at research field of department of soil science to find out the effect of soil test crop response based long-term fertilization on yield attributing parameters and yield of wheat. The treatments details were T1; Control, T2 ; 120 N: 80 P2O5: 60 K2O kg ha-1 , T3; Target yield of 4.5 t ha-1, T4; Target yield of 6.0 t ha-1, T5; Target yield of 4.5 t+FY… Show more

“…Several research use geo-statistics to ascertain spatial variability and create maps of soil attributes in a spatial context [1,[9][10][11]. Understanding the variability of soil is essential for both practical management and the creation of models [12,5]. Hence, this research aims to measure the spatial variability of soils in Ujjain tehsil of Madhya Pradesh.…”

“…Further, significant and higher test weight was observed with application FYM (18t/ha) might be due to supply of adequate nutrients it increases photosynthetic activities, as a result it translocates more photosynthates in the reproductive stage of crop results in more crop growth and increase in test weight. Similar result was recorded by Upadhyay et al (2022) in wheat.…”
