“…Strong and sharp peaks appear in the spectrum at 560 and 1384 cm -1 which are due to the characteristics of SnS. These bands are similar in positions, if compared with that obtained by Khel [42] and Henry [43]. The band at 1659 cm -1 is assigned to H-O-H bending of H 2 O molecules [44].…”

“…The XRD diffraction peaks at 26.03° to 66.04° for SnS with Miller indices of (201), (210), (111), (301), (311), (511), (610) and (512), respectively, in agreement with the SnS nanocrystals literature (Kumar et al 2014;Kafashan et al 2017;Oda et al 2014). On the other hand less prominent peak was observed at 2θ = 34.5° which corresponds to the (1 1 1) reflection plane has compare to the report by Henry et al (2013) with prominent peak. The narrow peaks indicate nano-size particles that are just above the quantum dots size range.…”

“…Therefore, the following general trend is observed during these treatments: smaller grains tend to grow in bigger size and decrease the film porosity by filling up of voids, improvement in the crystallinity and change in the band gap occurred after thermal treatment [32].…”
