Effect of rheological properties of materials on their treatment with ultrasonic cavitation

Abstract: In the research, we proved that the optimum level of energy is the basis for an effective treatment of materials using ultrasonic cavitation. The key energy parameters are the pressure at the contact zone of the cavitator and material, and the speed of the contact zone movement. The main objectives of our work were to investigate the changes in the pressure components and determine their values considering the rheological parameters and the parameters of the dynamic material and cavitator. To achieve the objec… Show more

“…However, when the effectiveness of the modes was determined, the authors did not specify which manufacturing environments fit the results obtained. The variable modes in the conditions of interaction between the vibroacoustic apparatus and processing environment [8] should be determined not only theoretically but also confirmed by using specific examples. Paper [9] uses a systematic way to select modal derivatives from a set of linear vibration modes based on the example of straight and curved beams, as well as panels.…”

“…In [11], when studying the processes of processing technological media, the effects of the interaction of the working body and the medium are taken into account. Thus, obtaining the final method for creating optimal vibration systems is the initial condition for the adequacy of the calculation model to the real technological process.…”
