Abstract:Aerobic and resistance physical exercise can activate different molecular pathways due to different intensities, duration, and mechanical loads imposed on the muscles. The activity can result in metabolic adaptations, such as increased mitochondrial mass, oxygen supply, glucose uptake, and antioxidant capacity.
