Effect of Machining on Workpiece Surface Characteristics in Electric Discharge Drilling (EDD)

Abstract: In electric discharge drilling (EDD), rapid local heating and cooling of the workpiece surface by means of electric discharges results in surface layers (recast, heat affected and base material).
