“…LaCoO 3 is a p-type conductor with a rhombohedrally-distorted perovskite structure, and the electronic conduction occurs through the transfer of charge carriers via Co-O-Co bonds. 7,8 Several synthesis methods for the preparation of LaCoO 3 , including solid-state reaction, 9 sol-gel method, 10 coprecipitation, 11 combustion method, 12 spray-freezing/freezedrying, 13 flame-spray pyrolysis, 14 etc., have been developed.…”

“…From the figure, a wide peak which lies between 100-450 o C and 450-570 o C was observed. Current literatures have reported that the peaks observed in the low temperature region corresponds to desorbed oxygen molecules which are engrossed on the surface vacancies of the catalysts (α oxygen species) [50][51][52][53] . Furthermore, the O 2 -TPD plots obtained in this research study displays two main kinds of absorbed oxygen species.…”

“…LaCoO 3 nanoparticles were prepared according the method reported by Chandradass et al, (2014) with some modications: 24 certain amount of La(NO 3 ) 3 $6H 2 O and Co(NO 3 ) 2 $6H 2 O were weighed precisely according to the atomic ratio of the target product and dissolved in 80 mL ethanol, then ammonia water were added dropwise under stirring to form La(OH) 3 and Co(OH) 2 and the nal pH was 9. The suspension were stirred for two more hours.…”
