“…In our previous publications, we have described some issues of the development of SIL/EP model systems (the systems which consisted only from pre-polymers and catalysts) without and with compatibilizers. Results of these investigations showed that N-(n-Butyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane-compatibilized two-component SIL/EP systems demonstrated high tensile strength and strain values (over 6 MPa and 400%, respectively) [20,21], revealing the potential of the developed systems for creating novel commercial adhesive and sealant formulations with a broad range of mechanical properties.
