This research was carried out due to the lack of use of varied teaching materials, causing a lack of scientific literacy and problem-solving skills of students in learning. This study aims to analyze the design, validity, practicality, and effectiveness of project-based learning-based modules to improve scientific literacy and problem solving in plant development materials. This research is development research using the 4D model (Four D Model). The subjects of this study were material experts, media experts, educators, and third grade elementary school students. Data collection methods used are interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The type of instrument used is a closed questionnaire. Data collection techniques used are qualitative analysis techniques and quantitative analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate the results of the calculation of the effectiveness test on the overall scientific literacy ability using N-gain with a g value of = 0.74 with a high level of effectiveness. The results of the effectiveness test on overall problem-solving ability using N-gain obtained a g value of = 0.71 with a high level of effectiveness. Thus, the project-based learning module developed with the 4D model is valid, practical, and effective to be used as teaching materials. The implication of this research is that the project-based learning module developed is valid, feasible, and effective for use in learning.

Perancangan modul interaktif ini bertujuan sebagai bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan siswa secara mandiri. Dengan adanya modul interaktif siswa dapat belajar kapan saja, dimana saja. Perancangan Modul Interaktif Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Layanan Jaringan dirancang untuk siswa kelas XI TKJ di SMK Kartika I-1 Padang Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan penelitian (research & development). Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 orang. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian pengembangan ADDIE model. Hasil uji validitas oleh para ahli secara keseluruhan penilaian uji validator terhadap perancangan modul interaktif pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Layanan Jaringan siswa kelas XI TKJ di SMK Kartika I-1 Padang di interprestasikan valid digunakan sebagai penunjang pembelajaran di sekolah.

Analysis of the Need for Electronic Module IPAS Development to Improve Independence, Creativity and Critical Thinking

According to the HDI, science education in Indonesia has a low number in producing students with independence, creativity, and critical thinking. In fulfilling and improving these criteria, the use of media learning based on Android, HTML, and offline-accessible applications has been enforced. The purpose of this research is to examine the need for developing learning media aiming to increase students' independence, creativity, and critical thinking. Descriptive narrative survey research is used as the method to employ the instrument indicators, including independence, creativity, and critical thinking. The instrument indicators consist of learning process, the need for electronic materials and supporting facilities and infrastructure. This study was conducted on 40 teachers, 3 male and 37 female, at SMK Pusat Keunggulan and 125 students, two females and 123 males, at SMKN 1 Trenggalek, two female and 123 male students. The survey on the students is also conducted to acknowledge and measure the indicators, including independence, creativity, and critical thinking. Data analysis is carried out through the validation of the instrument as the first step. After being revised, the implementation of the instrument was then conducted. Following the steps, the data were analyzed by applying Likert analysis. Based on the data obtained, 88% of the students and 100% of the teachers required innovative, intriguing, and accessible electronic-based materials to support and enhance both comprehensions of the lessons. Students who are categorized as less independent have 83.25% independency, 68.25%, and 83% critical thinking in average. As a result, learning media that are accessible offline, based on Android, HTML, and applications, are required.
