The rapid development of technologies and digitalization of all segments of the economy form new requirements of the business community for personnel, which obliges the education system to comply with modern trends and provide training for highly qualified specialists. The variety of methods and forms of training students of higher educational institutions provides an opportunity for variability in choosing the optimal way to organize the educational process, however, the active introduction of innovations in business processes actualizes the problem of insufficient practical orientation of university graduates to work in the real sector of the economy. There has been illustrated a learning pyramid (cone of experience, cone of retention) developed in the 1950s by an American scientist E. Dale, which displays the share of information perceived by a person during training as a percentage and the effectiveness of various teaching methods. In this connection, in this article, the authors consider the use of business simulations in the educational process as a way to improve the quality of educational services and increase the interest and motivation of the student body. It is substantiated that the use of this method contributes to an increase in interest in the educational process both on the part of the teaching staff and on the part of students who experience significant difficulties in mastering new material. There has been substantiated the importance of introducing the modern teaching methods into the activities of universities, as well as to identify the main problems of using business simulators in modern conditions. The results obtained are based on current scientific articles by Russian and foreign scientists who have studied the process of improving the quality of educational services in the digital economy, as well as innovative teaching methods in higher educational institutions. The application of the main tools for the digitalization of the educational process regulated by federal regulatory documents has been actualized.

The problem of information distortion worsened in recent years, but it also existed centuries ago. In fact, since its inception, information has been a valuable resource and tool to influence public opinion and, if necessary, represent information in a favourable light. The phenomenon of information distortion is not new and is closely related to the history of human development. However, with the development of forms and tools of communication and as the characteristics of the information environment change, the ways of distortion become more complicated. Besides the increase in number of types and forms of such distortions, the number and variety of approaches to its exploring increases, including the methods of its classification and criteria for differentiating, which fully meets the need to systematize the forms of information distortion in response to ongoing changes. This article attempts to critically analyse the methodological basis of the phenomenon of distorted information and to identify the main directions and methodological approaches to its study.

Russian culture has always been literary-centric. The appeal to the literary text as a way of understanding oneself and social reality remains up till now a significant part of the educational process. Social conflicts are reflected in Russian prose. The paper is devoted to the study of the concept of conflict and the specifics of its implementation in the discourse of literature using based on the novel by Vladimir Sorokin “Telluria”. We believe that the emergence of a conflict occurs at the point when one of the subjects deprives the other of his subjectivity and begins to impose his point of view. A distinctive feature of conflicts of this kind of discourse is the in communication – author’s and reader’s. Besides due to achronicity in relation to real time literary texts are more durable and resistant to changing agendas, and are also able to influence reality even after time. Few modern Russian authors describe modern realities. Sorokin is one of the most famous and influential writers of modern Russia, who is known far beyond its borders. Some of the fantastic nature of Sorokin’s plots at a long distance turns out to be quite accurate in diagnosing modernity. The article examines lexical units that can become absolute conflict triggers. All of them relate to the subject, its attribute or activity. In a literary text, neutral words can also generate conflict that is influenced by the context. The study of conflicts in different discourses will allow us to identify common conflict-prone vocabulary characteristic for the Russian cultural field.
