An important condition for the formation of sustainability of agriculture is the ability to achieve environmental tradeoffs in the process of land use. The purpose of research is development of methodical approaches to formation of strategy of rational land use by means of improvement of administrative activity at microlevel. Authors have formulated concept of strategy of rational use of land, basic principles, elements and sequence of its construction. The structural mechanism of realization of strategy of maintenance of readiness of the personnel to rational use of land, and also bringing material and technical, financial and land resources in strategic conformity for achievement of ecological compromises in the course of conducting agricultural activity is offered. The authors developed a conceptual model of a strategic map of rational land use on the basis of a balanced system of economic and environmental indicators, and proposed directions for its implementation.

Land is one of the key resources in agricultural production. The use of these resources is signifi antly different from the use of labor resources and financing. It is the land features that affect the assessment of their use efficiency. The analysis of literary sources has shown, there are a large number of approaches and methods to assess the effectiveness of land resources. This indicates a great interest of researchers and practitioners in the issue under study. Each of the researchers offers their own unique methodology for assessing the efficiency of land use. However, it is impossible to distinguish a single method due to various reasons. Nevertheless, it should be noted that the proposed methods are complementary. The main goal of this study was to assess the effectiveness of agricultural land use in France. In this regard we used following methods: analysis and synthesis, graphical method, method of comparisons. The analysis was carried out in three stages. The dynamics and structure of agricultural lands of the country, the harvested areas of the main groups of agricultural crops were analyzed, both cost and natural indicators were calculated. As a result, we can say that the studied indicators should be used in the express assessment of efficiency, they can also be used in the comparative assessment of the efficiency of agricultural land use. For a deeper assessment, in our opinion, it is necessary to use other methods of analysis.

Subject. This article discusses the importance of land resources for the development of the region. Objectives. The article aims to conduct an economic assessment of the reproduction of land resources in the Russian agriculture. Methods. For the study, we used statistical research methods and linear predictive models with a loss functional in the form of quantile functions. Results. The article confirms the hypothesis about the influence of the nature of economic activity on the parameters of reproduction of land resources within certain regional economic systems. The article proves that the increase in the intensity of the use of land resources, accompanied by an increase in the yield of agricultural crops, leads to a deterioration in the parameters of reproduction of land resources. At the same time, there is a statistically significant relationship between the parameters of reproduction and the level of application of organic fertilizers. Conclusions. The allowed losses of elements of land fertility should be compensated by the appropriate application of organic and mineral fertilizers, as well as the use of various soil protection measures.
