Environmental care attitude is an important factor in protecting the environment. The Adiwiyata Award is presented as the highest recognition for implementing an environmental care attitude. The aims of this study are to (1) evaluate the execution of the environmental curriculum in Adiwiyata schools; (2) to analyze the students’ environmental care attitudes in Adiwiyata schools in the Pati Regency using the new ecological paradigm (NEP) scale; and (3) to examine the students’ environmental care attitudes in Adiwiyata schools in the Pati Regency related to gender differences. Based on the criteria of Adiwiyata schools, they were used as research subjects. The research subjects were chosen using a purposive sampling technique. A questionnaire was utilized as a data collection instrument. The new ecological paradigm (NEP) scale was used to assess environmental care attitudes. This study used a Likert scale to assess environmental care attitudes. The Mann-Whitney test was used to identify gender differences in environmental care attitudes. The results found that (1) Adiwiyata schools in the Pati Regency supported the implementation of environmental education in the curriculum, as well as participation in environmental activity programs and the use of greenhouses; (2) the environmental care attitudes of students from the SMA Negeri Pati Regency were in the moderate category; and (3) there was a gender difference based on environmental care attitudes, which found that female students have a higher environmental care attitude than the male students. Environmental education plays an important role in gender differences because the Adiwiyata school has integrated learning activities with the environmental education curriculum, and participatory-based environmental activities can improve students’ environmental care attitudes. The potential implication for policy and practice in the field is that humans will consciously prevent environmental problems from occurring.

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengelaborasi gerakan ekofeminisme spiritual dalam upaya menolak tambang oleh perempuan adat Mollo, Nusa Tenggara Timir. Gerakan perlindungan lingkungan yang dilakukan para perempuan Mollo menunjukkan bahwa posisi perempuan dan alam adalah setara. Posisi yang setara ini ditunjukkan melalui gerakan perlawanan dalam melindungi lingkungan dari perusahaan tambang (kapital) yang berupaya mendominasi alam Mollo, Timor Tengah Selatan, NTT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan mengacu pada model analisis B. Miles dan Michael Huberman. Dampak kerusakan pada alam yang diakibatkan oleh eksploitasi eksktraktif ala kapitalisme juga berdampak negatif pada perempuan, dan memperlihatkan dominasi maskulinitas atas femininitas di wilayah Mollo. Posisi setara antara perempuan dan alam serta hubungan eratnya menjadi alasan untuk memulai gerakan perlawanan. Gerakan perlawanan yang dilakukan para perempuan adat Mollo menjadi salah satu representasi gerakan Ekofeminisme Spiritualis di Indonesia yang merespons dan menolak eksploitasi alam. Prinsip-prinsip yang diyakini perempuan Mollo mencerminkan pemikiran Ekofeminisme Spiritualis dan dijadikan landasan gerakan untuk menolak tambang marmer. Prinsip tersebut berupa praktik spiritualitas berbasis bumi dan adanya konsep keterhubungan pikiran, tubuh, dan alam.

The relationship between humans and the environment has managed to evolve throughout history. This relationship can be seen in both how people interact with nature and in the environmental laws they pass. These two things demonstrate how humans rule the environment. The COVID-19 pandemic has become one of the catalysts for rethinking the human-nature relationship and the impact of human dominance on the environment. Ecofeminism has emerged as a viable theory for combating this dominance. The historical development of environmental law as well as ecofeminism studies on the significance of environmental law will be examined in this study. This research is historically and philosophically oriented normative and qualitative jurisprudential research. The findings show that environmental law has developed over time in three distinct periods: traditional, modern, and post-modern. Three laws have been used to address environmental issues throughout Indonesia's history of environmental law development. Despite government efforts to uphold the framework of environmental law based on the idea of anthropocentrism, there are global environmental problems. The study of Ecofeminism and the urgent need for environmental laws that emphasize balance and combat human dominance of the environment must be built upon after the COVID-19 Pandemic. According to Ecofeminism, every legislature must establish this human-environmental relationship in order to end human dominance that endangers the environment.
