Dynamic Sustainable Processes Simulation to Study Transport Object Efficiency

Abstract: The development of reliability theory has led to the setting of tasks requiring consideration of the efficiency and functional safety of technical objects of transport over the life cycle. The paper demonstrates the possibility of using the universal laws of elastic wave theory to describe natural phenomena occurring in complex dynamic systems, on the examples of solving issues arising in the interaction of rolling stock and the railway track. The accounting of the time component and the ability of elastic wav… Show more

“…Modeling the life cycle of the deformability work of the railway track involves considering the problem in a stochastic formulation because the use of numerical methods does not allow describing the change in rail deformations under the influence of rolling stock wheels over time. However, the basis of the modeling used in the work is the presence of wave processes caused by both external and internal vibrations of the track structure elements [50,80]. Thus, the variability of the problem statement is reduced by establishing a pattern between the magnitude of the impact and the processes of vibration of the track structure over time for specific operating conditions.…”

“…The risk assessment of the functional safety [42][43][44][45][46] of any engineering object is associated with the definition of reliability [47][48][49], availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) [50,51]. It determines the suitability of objects to perform their functions safely (with defined risk levels at all stages of the life cycle) [25,52,53] and efficiently (with a certain level of costs) under specific operating conditions [54][55][56][57].…”

“…where FL-traction force of the locomotive in traction or electrodynamic braking m MLk-mass of the locomotive section; An analysis of works devoted to the research of new technologies on rolling stock shows that mathematical modeling is used in the initial stages [16,19]. Modeling is important in creating modern equipment for vehicles [31,32] and rail transport systems in general [32][33][34]. Mathematical modeling is widely used, in particular, for the study of rolling stock [35][36][37], traction power supply systems [38][39][40], infrastructure objects [41][42][43], traffic safety assessment [44,45], transportation process management [46], etc.…”

“…The role and significance of materials for the advanced economies of the world remain substantial. Materials form the basis of many sectors of the economy, among which construction [1,2], automobile manufacturing [3][4][5][6][7], and mechanical engineering [8][9][10][11] hold particular importance. Among materials, welding materials hold special significance.…”
