“…Strains FT29W T and FT103W T contained Q-8 as the sole respiratory quinone. This is similar to the respiratory quinone profiles of other members within the family Oxalobacteraceae [23][24][25][26][27]. The cellular fatty acid profiles were homogeneous among strains FT29W T , FT103W T and the six reference strains.…”

“…Strain FT29W T contained less C 10 : 0 3OH than strain FT103W T (0.8 and 4.4 %, respectively). The polar lipids of strain FT103W T consisted of phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylglycerol and one unidentified phospholipid, which was similar to the polar lipid profiles of other members within the family Oxalobacteraceae [23,[25][26][27], but strain FT29W T only contained phosphatidylethanolamine and one unidentified phospholipid (Fig. S4).…”

“…The genus Duganella was proposed by Hiraishi et al in 1997 with the reclassification of Zoogloea ramigera IAM 12670 T (P. R. Dugan 115) [1]. Since then, four novel species within this genus have been reported: Duganella phyllosphaerae T54 T , Duganella ginsengisoli DCY83 T , Duganella sacchari Sac-22 T and Duganella radicis Sac-41 T [2][3][4]. The species within this genus are Gram-strain-negative, rod-shaped and motile with flagella.…”

“…All the tested reference strains could also hydrolyse gelatin. (1.25); they were resistant to oxacillin (1) and clindamycin (2). Detailed differences in the morphological, physiological and biochemical characteristics of strains FT9W T , FT25W, FT26W T , FT109W T , FT134W, CY42W T and the reference strains are given in Table 1.…”
