Dufour and Soret Effect on Steady MHD Flow in Presence of Heat Generation and Magnetic Field past an Inclined Stretching Sheet

Abstract: An analysis of two-dimensional steady magneto-hydrodynamic free convection flow of an electrically conducting, viscous and incompressible fluid past an inclined stretching porous plate in the presence of a uniform magnetic field and thermal radiation with heat generation is made. Both the Dufour and Soret effects are considered for a hydrogen-air mixture as the non-chemically reacting fluid pair. The equations governing the flow, temperature and concentration fields are reduced to a system of joined non-linear… Show more

“…Jithender studied thermal diffusion (Soret) and diffusion thermal (Dufour) effects on unsteady MHD fluid flow past a moving vertical plate in a porous medium by considering Hall current and rotating system. Because of the applications of these two phenomenon like in isotope separation (Yusuf et al, 2016;Alao et al, 2016;Karim et al, 2012;Ramzan et al, 2015;Gadipally and Gundagani, 2014;Gangadhar and Suneetha, 2015;Shateyi et al, 2010;Reddy et al, 2015;Hayat et al, 2017), a few has investigated the combined effects of Soret and Dufour effects.…”

“…Rajput and Gupta [13] have discussed chemical reaction and soret effects on free convection MHD flow past a moving inclined plate with variable temperature and constant mass diffusion. Dufour and Soret effect on steady MHD flow in the presence of heat generation and magnetic field past an inclined stretching sheet have been studied by Karim et al [9].…”
