Dual-frequency double-ring microstrip antenna with voltage/current couplings

Abstract: A novel design of a double‐ring microstrip antenna with dual‐frequency operation is presented in this paper. The frequency ratio (FR) depends on the radii of the inner and outer rings. Besides the voltage feed line couples to the outer rings, the current coupling between these two rings is introduced. Experimental results are presented and discussed. ©1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
