Dor crônica e a crença de auto-eficácia

Abstract: O tratamento de doentes com dor crônica inclui a modificação de crenças, atitudes, valores e com-portamentos pouco adaptativos. Crenças disfuncionais podem se tornar o problema central e determinar os resultados do tra-tamento. Dentre as crenças importantes para a vivência e manejo da dor crônica, a de auto-eficácia merece destaque.
