The impact of New Technologies on writing proccess is not new at all. This digital revolution first resulted in the appearance of new text formats and the development of an ad hoc literary theory. In Angloamerican area, this revolution made philologists and patrimonial institutions reflect on the necessity of developing formats of study, edition and perennial conservation of these new formats of digital texts. What is the reason for such a delay in these disciplines that can be observed in Europe? Why can we say that digital forensics and media archaeology (Kirschenbaum) are not trasnational disciplines? In this paper, I assess the impact in Europe and in Angloamerican area of .Txtual condition. Moreover, I make a contrast between these conclusions and the answers given by three emblematic writers of the 'new Spanish narrative' to a survey about ways of managing and preserving digital files. El objetivo central de este trabajo es analizar en profundidad la totalidad de las ediciones locales de la obra cervantina, publicadas entre 1900 y 1983, abordando tanto los aspectos materiales de las mismas como su impacto en el contexto de edición. La delimitación temporal planteada está sujeta a las siguientes consideraciones. La fecha de 1900 se corresponde con la primera impresión de la empresa internacional Casa Maucci. Hemos decidido delimitar cronológicamente nuestro análisis en el año 1983, considerando la primera edición posterior a la última dictadura militar. La historia editorial latinoamericana se empareja con la historia editorial del Quijote. En la investigación se establecen puntos de contacto entre el desarrollo del ámbito editorial local y la historia editorial local de la obra cervantina, dado que los diversos adelantos tecnológicos llevados adelante por las empresas editoriales repercuten en los modos de publicar la obra y en el alcance (local e internacional) de la misma. El aporte de McKenzie en su obra Bibliografía y Sociología de los Textos (2005) ha permitido abordar el corpus de más de 60 ediciones analizadas, teniendo en cuenta diversos estudios sobre la Historia del Libro y de la Edición en habla hispana. A partir de Robert Darnton (2014) y su esquema del “Circuito de la Comunicación” que se conforma alrededor del objeto libro, se identifican una serie de agentes que participan en la publicación de una obra, a fin de poder analizarlos de manera concreta en el abordaje de cada edición del Quijote. Tomando como base la disciplina esbozada por Donald McKenzie, la Bibliografía y Sociología de los textos, se proponen en este apartado los lineamientos teóricos necesarios para poder analizar, de manera fundamentada, cada una de las ediciones locales de la obra como una propuesta de lectura. La obra delimita el objeto de análisis en tres grandes arcos temporales, que siguen los estudios precedentes del campo editorial realizados por De Diego (2016), dentro de los cuales se analiza detalladamente cada edición: - Primer arco temporal (1900-1919): las primeras ediciones conmemorativas y la organización del campo editorial; - Segundo arco temporal (1938-1955): la época de oro del campo editorial argentino; - Tercer arco temporal (1956-1983): la consolidación del mercado interno.
