No estado de Minas Gerais, de acordo com o local do ferimento no agredido, observou-se que, em crianças menores de 10 anos, houve uma equivalência entre os percentuais de agressão em cabeça/pescoço com 24% das ocorrências (OLIVEIRA et al, 2012).…”

Of note, the study by Shuler et al 33 reported 19.8% of the attacks involved a family member, whereas in an earlier review it was suggested 25%–33% of bites were from the family dog1 and in a more recent study 28% of victims were bitten by their own dog,8 suggesting a modest undercount of these dog bites.…”
