Does Tofu Wastewater Conversions Nutrient Increase the Content of the Chlorella pyrenoidosa?

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the lipid, carbohydrate and protein content of Chlorella pyrenoidosa after being treated with the tofu wastewater. The method used in this study was an experimental method with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment was performed by administering different concentrations of the tofu wastewater to the C. pyrenoidosa. The concentrations used were 10%, 15% and 20%. Determination of these concentrations was based on the preliminary test. The main parameters observed were the lipi… Show more

“…The pH does not measure the total acidity or alkalinity; the pH value of water characterizes the balance between acid and base in water and is a measurement of the concentration of hydrogen ions in a solution [16]. Temperature determines the rate of catalysis, while pH determines the balance of enzymatic reactions [17].…”

“…Provision of artificial feed was carried out with sufficient doses (At satiation) with a frequency of four times a day (at 10.00, 12.00, 14.00, and 16.00). Artificial feed reduction could also be done if at the time of feeding there were still sufficient amounts of Chlorella, Rotifers, and Artemia to avoid negative impacts on water quality due to spoilage of uneaten feed residues [30,31].…”

“…Kesesuaian pakan alami berdasarkan jenis, jumlah, mutu dan kesinambungannya adalah salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan pemeliharaan benih Udang Vannamei (Lante & Herlinah, 2015). Pakan alami terutama mikroalga merupakan sumber protein, karbohidrat, lipid, dan asam lemak (Musa et al, 2021). Polyunsaturated Fatty Acid (PUFA) sangat dibutuhkan untuk pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih Udang Vannamei (Panjaitan et al, 2015).…”
