Does Candida Albicans Play a Role in the Etiology of Endometriosis?

Abstract: Purpose There is increasing evidence that immunologic mechanisms play a role in the pathogenesis of endometriosis. A high incidence of infection with Candida albicans in women with endometriosis has been reported.
