“…CPC can be obtained from Arthrospira platensis (previously known as Spirulina platensis ), a cyanobacteria species that is extensively cultured ( Olaizola, 2003 , Singh et al, 2011 ), mainly as a source of food, feed supplement, and natural blue pigment ( Belay et al, 1996 , McClane et al, 2006 , Singh et al, 2011 ).
