In the case of patients with depression, the effect of psychopathology on the validity of self‐ratings of personality traits, temperament, and interpersonal problems seems to be minimal and not influenced by mistaken beliefs (Bergsma, Veenhoven, ten Have, & de Graaf, ; Ready & Clark, ).
