“…The synthesized compounds I and II appear as colorless crystalline substances, which are soluble in water, ethanol, DMSO, and DMF. 1 The proposed structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by the results of IR and NMR spectroscopic measurements ( Table 1). The IR spectra of compounds Ia -It display absorption bands related to stretching vibrations of the carbonyl (1613 -1658 cm -1 ) and ketone-lactam (1613 -1658 cm -1 ) groups, as well as absorption bands due to the enol hydroxy group, secondary amino group, and alcohol group of the side chain (in the region of 3100 -3490 cm-1).…”
