Due to increasingly serious environmental pollution problems and governments’ strengthening of environmental impact supervision, manufacturing companies are seeking green production methods, implementing carbon trading systems, and promoting the trend towards green remanufacturing. Thus, this paper introduces green factors to the existing closed-loop supply chain network models and studies the impact of carbon trading, green innovation efforts, and green consumers on the choice between two remanufacturing strategies: an in-house remanufacturing strategy and an authorized remanufacturing strategy. The results concerning the choice of the remanufacturing strategy are as follows: from the perspective of obtaining more profits, when the carbon trading price is low, the companies choose the authorized remanufacturing strategy; when the carbon trading price is high, the companies choose to remanufacture by themselves. For all the green innovation efforts and the proportions of green consumers, when the recovery rate of the used product is low, the companies choose to remanufacture by themselves; when the recovery rate of the used product is high, the companies choose the authorized remanufacturing strategy.

In recent years, the resource shortage and environmental degradation have made enterprises and governments increasingly aware of the importance of sustainable development. Meanwhile, the COVID-19 pandemic has also increased the shortage of medical materials. Based on this, we investigate the tradeoff of the critical medical devices refurbishing strategies when blockchain is used in three different structures: manufacturer refurbishing, retailer refurbishing, and third-party refurbishing in the two-period refurbishing strategies. We find that the manufacturer always benefits from the adoption of blockchain technology strategy in the manufacturer refurbishing scenario. However, for the retailer in the second period, the retailer references the adoption of blockchain only if the willingness to pay is extremely high. Additionally, when the medical supply chain channel member chooses retailer refurbishing or third-party strategy, the manufacturer always likes to use blockchain technology. That’s because it will help the information value spillover from the retailer to the manufacturer, which leads the manufacturer to get more profits and a lower profit for the retailer. However, in the retailer refurbishing or third-part strategy, the whole channel profits are higher than not adopting blockchain technology. Therefore, business managers can be based on our research to achieve profits Pareto-improving.

<p style='text-indent:20px;'>In launching new green product or responding to market environment change, supply chain firms need to pour attention to best retailer's channel structure policy and coordination conditions. We consider a retailer-led green supply chain, and investigate optimal retailer's channel structure policy and supply chain coordination considering the impact of channel purchasing cost. First, we analyze three potential channel structures of green supply chain: offline channel structure (F), online channel structure (N), and dual-channel structure (D), and provide three functions to describe market demands for potential channel structures by analyzing the impacts of price, channel purchasing cost, and product greening level. Then, we develop profit functions and construct three joint pricing and product greening level optimization models to determine optimal joint optimization policies for structures F, N, and D, respectively. Furthermore, we conduct the theoretical analysis of retailer's channel structure selection, and provide numerical studies to illustrate and testify the theoretical results. Finally, we use a two-part tariff (TPT) contract to realize green supply chain coordination for structures F, N, and D, and show coordination conditions. Our research results indicate that, the optimal retailer's channel structure from each perspective is generally not uniquely determined, and optimal retailer's channel structures from three perspectives of manufacturer, retailer, and supply chain can be affected by channel purchasing cost, greening cost sensitivity, and preference degree of consumer to online channel.</p>
