Summary. Modern domestic and foreign literature was analyzed to determine the tactics of surgical treatment of patients during the revision knee replacement. It was found that the use in clinical practice of a larger number of methods for compensating bone defects in revision knee replacement convincingly indicates the unresolved nature of this problem and the need for further scientific development, clinical research and observation. Using this or that method, it is necessary to take into account its advantages and disadvantages, as well as the specific clinical and physical characteristics of each patient.

Türk Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Birliği Derneği lokalizasyonu, revizyonda kullanılacak desteğin tip ve boyutunu etkileyen başlıca faktördür. [2] Genel olarak, küçük sınırlı defektler kemik çimentosu ve vida kombinasyonu veya ufalanmış allogreft ile tedavi edilebilirken, daha büyük sınırlanamayan defektlerde, metal blok ve kama destekler, büyük yapısal allogreftler veya yüksek poroziteli konik metafizyel metallere ihtiyaç duyulur. Defekt Sınıflaması Kemik kaybının sınıflanmasında; defektin boyutu, lokalizasyonu ve derinliğinin yanında, sağlam bir periferik kemik çerçevenin olup olmaması da göz önünde bulundurulabilir. Cerrahi öncesi veya cerrahi sırasında defektin tanımlanıp, defekt sınıflamasının yapılması; tedavide tercih edeceğimiz rekonstrüksiyon yönteminin KEMİK DEFEKTİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ Revizon total diz artroplastisi ameliyatlarının her yıl %19,3 oranında artması beklenmektedir. [1] Revizyonda kritik basamak, kemik kaybının lokalizasyonu ve miktarını belirlemektir. Cerrahi öncesi planlamada, kemik defektinin boyutunun değerlendirilmesi sıklıkla göz ardı edilir. Defekt değerlendirilmiş olsa bile, rekonstrüksiyonda kullanılmaya uygun malzemelerin tümü revizyon sırasında hazır bulundurulmalıdır; çünkü, kalan kemik stoğu ve uygun rekonstrüksiyon yöntemini belirlemede en doğru yol, cerrahi sırasında değerlendirmedir.
