Dispelling Myths About Dissociative Identity Disorder Treatment: An Empirically Based Approach

Abstract: The evidence demonstrates that carefully staged trauma-focused psychotherapy for DID results in improvement, whereas dissociative symptoms persist when not specifically targeted in treatment.
