Various normal and pathologic findings might occasionally be found on the tongue and might confuse some patients and clinician due to its atypical presentation. This case report aimed to present a case report of multiple oral findings related to variants of normal and pathological findings on the tongue: geographic tongue, fissured tongue, and central papillary atrophy. A 53-year-old male patient came to Universitas Indonesia Dental Hospital for a dental check-up. Objective examination in the tongue showed depapilated areas surrounded by keratinized lining in the ventral and lateral left and right area of the tongue, multiple fissures in all over the dorsum of the tongue, and an ovoid redness area in the middle of 2/3 posterior dorsum part of the tongue. All those findings were asymptomatic. Those clinical findings were diagnosed as geographic tongue, fissured tongue, and central papillary atrophy. This case presents unique multiple variants of normal and pathological findings in the tongue. It is important to an oral health professional to have knowledge and ability to determine normal anatomy, variants of normal and pathological lesions. Patients should be informed and educated about oral mucosa normal variations and related clinical findings so they would not develop unnecessary anxiety. Previous studies have used various indicators, single or combined, to measure SES, mostly focused on occupation, education and income (14-17). However, unavailable or unreliable results have been mentioned for income and occupation, especially in developing countries (18). Uncontrolled division of cells causes cancer. Mouth cancer is caused by many factors and the major causes of mouth cancer are Tobacco use, heavy alcohol use and infection by HPV (Human Papillomavirus). Another factor of mouth cancer is UV-light which can cause lip cancer. Some factors are genetic factors. If genetic instability occurs in Keratinocytes then cancer is developed. The main reason of mouth cancer is Tobacco, cigarettes. Questioners about awareness of mouth cancer were solved by biotechnology students. Total 38 students performed to solve this questioner. The responses of these questions were analyzed. Total 32 females and 6 males solved the questioner. And by studying the questioner it was concluded that 73.68% students agreed that mouth cancer is a viral disease and 34.21% agreed that mouth cancer is genetic disease, 68.4% students agreed that mouth cancer transfer from parents to offspring's and 31.5% students agreed that this disease is curable. So few students were fully aware few were not aware about mouth cancer. And the objective of this study is to aware biotechnology students about mouth cancer in Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan.
