Dirofilaria immitis and Angiostrongylus vasorum: the contemporaneous detection in kennels

Abstract: BackgroundThe cardiopulmonary nematodes Dirofilaria immitis and Angiostrongylus vasorum are increasingly reported in dogs and are responsible for two diseases with overlapping endemic areas, especially in Europe: dirofilariosis and angiostrongylosis.
