“…The comparison of the high‐resolution Sb 3d spectra in Figure 1f presented that the main peak (540.2 eV) for AMQDs was shifted and the satellite peak (537.7 eV) disappeared, indicating the changed surface states after exfoliation. [ 5b ] Overall, the above characterization results confirmed that AMQDs were successfully prepared by a probe sonication‐assisted exfoliation method.…”

“…[ 17 ] This phenomenon may be related to the quantum confinement effect on the lateral and longitudinal dimensions. [ 5a,18 ] The chemical composition of the prepared AMQDs was well characterized by X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. As displayed in Figure S1 (Supporting Information), there were Sb, O, and C elements in the XPS survey spectrum of AMQDs.…”

“…Recently, various elemental 2D materials (e.g., P, As, Sb, and Bi) have become a stimulating research topic due to their fundamental band gap and potential as candidates for the next generation of electronic and optoelectronic devices . In particular, antimony (Sb) is considered to have excellent physicochemical properties and has been shown to easily peel off from bulk crystals …”

“…28 In particular, antimony (Sb) is considered to have excellent physicochemical properties and has been shown to easily peel off from bulk crystals. 29 According to density functional theory calculations, Sb with a thickness of one atomic layer has semiconducting electronic characteristics, with an indirect band gap of 2.28 eV. 30 Both theoretical and experimental data have shown that few-layered antimonene with semimetallic properties have high carrier mobility, thermal conductivity, and electron spin characteristics, which can effectively compensate for the low carriers' mobility of g-C 3 N 4 .…”
