Digital Storytelling at School: Engagement and Educational Benefits

Abstract: This paper presents PoliCultura, a large-scale initiative introducing collaborative digital storytelling in formal education. PoliCultura has involved more than 17,000 participants from 2006, from pre-school to high school. It engages participants and also fosters the achievement of substantial educational benefits, monitored each year via online surveys, Skype interviews and focus groups.
