Digital Magazine as Technological Resource for the Education of Biochemist in the Basic Education

Abstract

Biochemistry is a field of the Natural Sciences that, on Basic school levels, deals with subjects related to Science; such as Biology and Chemistry, explaining in many ways the biological phenomena that happen in the living systems. However, students find it difficult to understand the biochemical concepts. To meet this challenge, teachers should look for course material that is appropriate to these students who are immersed in a technological world. Thus, this present work shows a Biochemistry digital magazine as a proposal to help the teaching-learning process and its evaluation by teachers who are part of the public school in the Rio de Janeiro state.Keywords: Biochemistry; Basic Education; Digital magazine. ResumoA Bioquímica é uma área das Ciências Naturais que na Educação Básica aparece permeando as disciplinas de Ciências, de Biologia e de Química, explicando em muitas situações os fenômenos biológicos que acontecem nos sistemas vivos. Ainda assim, os alunos possuem dificuldades de entendimento dos conceitos bioquímicos. Para este desafio, o professor pode recorrer a materiais didáticos adequados ao alunado que vive imerso num mundo tecnológico. Assim, o presente trabalho apresenta uma revista digital de Bioquímica como proposta para auxiliar este processo de ensinoaprendizagem, e sua avaliação por professores atuantes no ensino público do estado do Rio de Janeiro.
