Education involving digital technology is the latest transformation of the education system, especially during the occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE) has taken the initiative to spearhead efforts to develop the skills and potential of students in the use of digital technology. The main purpose of this study was to identify the level of digital leadership displayed by principals, the level of teachers' digital teaching practices and the elements of principals' digital leadership that predict the level of teachers' digital teaching. About 400 secondary school teachers in Hulu Langat District, Selangor were involved in this study. The findings of this study show that the level of digital leadership displayed by principals and teachers' digital teaching practice are both at a high level. However, the positive correlation between the two is moderate. Multiple regression found that only digital citizenship is a strong predictor of teachers' digital teaching. The findings show that the ability to plan and organize digital leadership programs is important and can help improve students' academic performance, despite the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

Instructional supervision refers to the effort to develop teachers individually or in groups so that the teaching and learning process can be carried out optimally to achieve the teaching objectives. The model of instructional supervision by school instructional leaders was carried out using the face-to-face observation method, however, this method of supervision has changed to a virtual form due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This urgent shift in teaching and learning methods at home poses various problems, especially the skills of teachers to use the medium of technology in the teaching process, as well as students and parents. This is because teachers and students have implemented the teaching and learning process online to prevent the occurrence of Covid-19 infection which is working and studying from home. Therefore, this study aimed to identify: 1) the role that instructional leaders need to play; 2) instructional supervision strategies implemented, and 3) the challenges faced in implementing instructional supervision in the Covid-19 pandemic era. Guided by the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes) research highlighting method, the review highlights were systematically conducted in the Scopus and Google Scholar databases involving 15 related articles from 2019 to 2021. The findings of the study have identified the role played by school instructional leaders has changed from observation for evaluation purposes to forms of support and assistance in various aspects of improving the ability of instructional leaders, teachers, students, and communities by using various electronic mediums to communicate and the teaching and learning process, can be continued. Some suggestions for the improvement of this study are from the aspect of article search using more databases and various search strategies such as reference tracking, reference search, snowball, and contacting experts.

Amalan kepimpinan instruksional dan pengintegrasian teknologi dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran merupakan dua amalan yang memberi impak dalam memastikan kelestarian proses pendidikan. Kedua-dua elemen ini diadaptasi bagi memastikan kesinambungan pendidikan diteruskan dengan menggunakan sumber sedia ada bagi mencari solusi baharu dengan meminimumkan risiko dan juga mengurangkan kos. Oleh itu, kertas konsep ini bertujuan mengenal pasti amalan kepimpinan instruksional dalam mempengaruhi pengetahuan teknologi pedagogi kandungan (PTPK) di kalangan guru-guru sekolah menengah di Malaysia. Tiga dimensi dalam amalan kepimpinan instruksional (mentakrif matlamat sekolah, mengurus program instruksional, menggalakkan iklim sekolah yang positif) dikenal pasti mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan terhadap amalan mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran iaitu merujuk kepada kerangka PTPK. Justeru, analisis kajian ini mencadangkan struktur model hubungan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hipotesis kajian dibentuk berasaskan literatur dan cadangan kerangka konseptual. Kajian ini keseluruhannya memberi implikasi berkaitan kepentingan menyediakan pemimpin sekolah dengan kemahiran mengurus program instruksional bagi membina pengetahuan teknologi pedagogi kandungan (PTPK) di kalangan guru serta menggalakkan iklim sekolah yang positif.
