Differences in IgG 1 and IgG 2 Responses of Goats to Chlamydial Abortions and to Clinically Inapparent Infections Detected by the Western Blot Technique

Abstract: Summary Elementary bodies of C. psittaci, resolved by SDS‐PAGE and electrophoretically transferred to nitrocellulose membranes, were for the first time used to analyse compartively the humoral immune responses of caprine IgG 1 and IgG 2 subclasses to chlamydia‐induced goat abortions and to clinically inapparent caprine chlamydial infections.
