Die Pflanzenreste aus der linienbandkeramischen Siedlung von Rosdorf-Mühlengrund, Ldkr. Göttingen, im südöstlichen Niedersachsen

Abstract

En remettant ce rapport, nous mettons un point final à l'étude des quantités abondantes de restes végétaux carbonisés qui furent recueillis à Rosdorf-Mühlengrund, l'habitat rubané le plus vaste fouillé jusqu'ici dans le sud de la Basse-Saxe. Les trouvailles confirment les connaissances actuelles et élargissent en même temps considérablement la base de données concernant l'agriculture pratiquée dans la civilisation rubanée. Les bases de balles ainsi que les semences et les graines de mauvaises herbes forment de nouvelles catégories à Rosdorf. On relèvera tout particulièrement que, pour la première fois en Basse-Saxe, du matériel provenant d'un seul site a pu être attribué à trois phases du Rubané. Le gros des restes végétaux remonte à la transition du Rubané précoce au Rubané ancien, et nombreux sont également les témoins de la phase Flomborn du Rubané ancien (Willerding 1965). En outre, une semence de pavot somnifère date le plan d'une maison du Rubané récent. Cette séquence chronologique permet de mettre en évidence des modifications spécifiques à cet habitat dans l'éventail des plantes cultivées et le fonctionnement économique. The extensive charred plant remains from the largest uncovered Linear Pottery Culture settlement in south LowerSaxony, Rosdorf-Mühlengrund, have been conclusively evaluated in this report. The finds confirm the previous state of research and at the same time considerably expand the database with respect to agriculture of the Linear Pottery Band Culture. Glume bases as well as seeds and fruits of weeds represent new categories of finds in Rosdorf. Particularly noteworthy is that, for the first time, material from a single site in south Lower Saxony has been found that represents three phases of Linear Pottery Culture: The amount of plant remains originates during the transition from the early to early-to-middle Linear Pottery Culture (LPC); there is numerous evidence of the earlyto-middle phase, also known as Flomborn Phase (Willerding 1965); and moreover the find of an opium poppy seed dates the ground plan of a house to the late LPC. This chronological sequence makes it possible to demonstrate settlement-specific changes in the range of cultivated plants and in the subsistence strategy.
