Chrzanowski & Grzycki [1937] are, so far as we are aware, the only authors claiming to have confirmed the belief of Anselmino & Hoffmann [1933] that a pH 5-2 ultra-filtrate of an aqueous extract of acetone dried pituitary gland can stimulate formation of islet tissue.…”
