Die Kategorie „zählbar – Nichtzählbar” Beim Russischen Substantiv

Abstract

The subdivision into countable and uncountable nouns is differently organized by human languages. In the Germanic and Romance languages it is indicated by restrictions imposed in the use of articles and plural forms. In Russian there is no possibility to differentiate word classes by articles. This article studies the formation of singulatives by means of suffixation äs a Russian device to distinguish mass words and thing-words.Les langues humaines organisent le classement en noms comptables et non-comtables chacune ä sä maniere. Dans les langues romanes et germaniques cette distinction se manifeste par les restrictions imposees a Temploi des articles et du pluriel. En russe les classes de mots ne peuvent pas etre etablies sur la base de Temploi des articles. On se propose ici d'etudier la formation de singulatifs effectuee par voie de suffixation comme un moyen permettant au russe de differencier les mots designant un objet des mots designant une substance non delimitee. 1.In Artikelsprachen wie Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch dienen die Artikel -zusammen mit der Numerusfähigkeit -dazu, die Substantive in die zwei Klassen der "zählbaren" und "nichtzählbaren" einzuteilen. So wird bread (ohne attributive Ergänzung) im Englischen nie mit dem unbestimmten Artikel gebraucht, pain und Brot aber sehr wohl.Im Russischen fällt das Kriterium des Artikels aus, das diagnostische Mittel der Pluralfähigkeit bleibt erhalten. Chleb ist zum Beispiel zusammen mit pain und Brot pluralfähig, wieder im Unterschied zu bread. Das bedeutet, daß chleb, pain y Brot sowohl Stoffname wie auch Dingwort 2 sind. Copenhagen -London: Mungaard,S. 26, hat den Terminus "mass-word" durch "continuate-word" ersetzt, weil "many people object to calling something so spiritual äs love 'a mass' ". 2 Wir gebrauchen die Termini "Dingwort/Stoffname", weil sie in der deutschen Schulgrammatik allgemein üblich sind.
