“…Besides these methods, oscillometry can be used to determine lesions in peripheral arteries as well. The comparison of this method with the ABI measured by Doppler ultrasound showed the AUC to be greater (0.87-0.95) than that determined by oscillometry (0.80-0.93) [24,25].…”

“…Haemodynamic measures of PVR, toe systolic pressures, arterial blood flow rates, and tissue oxygenation of haemoglobin measured using digital pulse oximetry or DUS or standard or dynamic computed tomographic angiography (CTA) had good reliability and diagnostic specificity, ruling out false‐negative PAD diagnoses of stenosis or occluded arteries verified by DSA. Pulse wave velocity (PWV) measurements and ankle divided by brachial PWV were reliable haemodynamic measures, but screening and diagnostic validity were not reported .…”

“…The study showed that pulse oximetry had a sensitiveity of 77% and a specificity of 97%. Joyce et al [14] and Ignjatović et al [15] used pulse oximetry to evaluate degree of limb ischemia in patients attending two surgi cal vascular units. They found that SaO 2 assessed by pulse oximetry was useful to determine the stage of functional ischemia and the success of revascularization.…”
