Diagnosis of thalassemia and iron deficiency anemia using confocal and atomic force microscopy

Abstract: Anemia is the most prevalent blood disorder, categorized into thalassemia and iron deficiency anemia. In anemia, the morphology of erythrocytes is disturbed, thus leading to abnormal functioning of the erythrocytes.
